Registered Nutritional Therapist*

Registered Nutritional Therapist* is a title extended to qualifying Members. It reflects a professional with a minimum of 3 years of experience in the field and a clear focus. All RNT’s must be NNCP’s in good standing. A registry of professionals granted the title is maintained by CANNP.

*The titles “Registered Nutritionist” and “Nutritionist” are reserved for use by members of the College of Dietitians of Alberta. While the title “Nutritional Therapist” does not incorporate any of the restricted elements, we advise all Alberta,Quebec and New Brunswick based practitioners to consult with a local lawyer to make sure the professional title and marketing materials they use, even if offered by the CANNP, comply with all local legal requirements. Members are responsible for ensuring the titles they choose to use comply with all local laws.
